New Backdrop

I tested out a new backdrop today that I can use in my house.  So, if you are looking for more formal pictures give me a call!

In like a Lion....

The Cicone Family couldn't be more excited for Spring to arrive.  It's interesting that with such a mild winter we would still be craving warmth and sunshine!  We were able to get out for a nature walk last week.  The fresh air did us all some good, although I could have done without the wet, smelly dog!  I cannot wait to get outside and start taking pictures again!

I was lucky enough recently to be asked to photograph the local Girl Scout "Me and My Guy Dance."  What an amazing experience!  These girls had the time of their lives and the fathers were just beaming!!  It was a wonderful night for all involved!

I was just thinking about Christmas Card season.  It's such a great time of year.  I loved taking pictures for this family.  I think you either win or loose with teenagers, but these guys were great sports!

The same family had me back about five months later to work on pictures for their Christmas card.  It's tough getting large groups all to cooperate, but these guys were amazing!  We moved quickly though the pictures and changed locations so the kids wouldn't get bored.  I think they turned out great!

This was one of my first "professional" shoots I did of a family of four kids.  The three older children have a new baby sister and have had a lot of change, so they weren't too excited to be my subjects.  Photographing children takes a lot of patience and the willingness to wait it out and get down and dirty!
